WHY NATURAL HAIR?
I’ve decided to go natural because
natural hair is so beautiful, healthy and not as boring as relaxed hair (smile),
and also when I was relaxed my hair never looked relaxed, that is, straight
(I still ask myself why) maybe it is because I have very thick hair…
FOR LIFE OR SOME TIME?
Anyway yes
I think it’s for life. Sometimes I want to try a blow out
(that’s what I’m even tempted to do these days) but yes I’m sure that I will
never put a relaxer or chemical product in my hair again.

WHAT IS YOUR GOAL?
My goal is to get healthy, long and soft hair (but waist length is okay
for me hihihi) to show people you don’t necessary need to be foreign or wear wigs to look
radiant.
DO YOU HAVE A REGIMEN? IF YES, PLEASE SHARE.
hmmmm I don’t really have a defined hair regimen but what I do daily is I spray
my hair with water+aloe vera juice+honey+ castor and olive oil then every
weekend or every other two weekends (depending on how my hair feels) I do an
oil treatment, wash it (with shampoo of course), then I mix my conditioner with
hair mayonnaise and honey for a deep conditioning feel. I usually braid my hair
before I deep condition my hair. When I remove my protective style- braids
(after at least two months) I do hot oil treatment mix with Indian powder and
honey. Well once a month I clean my
scalp with baking soda and when I’m bored I can massage the scalp (smile). I
also always sleep with a satin cap and I finger comb my hair a lot. I think
that is all.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PRODUCT? AND WHY?
My
favourite product... mmmh I love sooo many products like the leave-ins, honey,
castor oil, or whipped shea butter or
even the aloe vera. Well I think my favourite one is the leave-in because it’s
instantly leaves my hair soft (smile).

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PROTECTIVE STYLE?
My
favourite protective styles are two-strand twist and box braids. I like box
braids because it is nice and two-strand twists because it is easy to do myself.
ANY BAD HAIR MOMENTS? (LMAOOO)

Hahahaha, yes
you can laugh. Well one day I decided to try a mask with banana, hibiscus juice,
olive oil and honey. It was a friend who told me about it, that friend forgot to
tell me to blend the banana very well with a machine and also that the hibiscus
can be very dry. With my lack of knowledge I just mashed the banana with my
fingers and added all the other ingredients and applied it to my hair. Later when
it was time to wash out the mask OMG!!! My hair was soooooo dry and hard (I’m
telling you my hair was looking like grass
and had residues of banana making my hair so tangled (you can imagine) it took me about
three days before I removed all the residues. And I assure you I am never
going to use banana or hibiscus juice in any of my hair regimen. No way!!!

WHAT IS THE CRAZIEST THING YOU WOULD LIKE TO
TRY TO YOUR HAIR?
Lol you
might laugh but locs... hahahaha I don’t know why I can’t see myself with locs
done with my own hair lol anyway the future will say the rest.
WEIRD THINGS YOU DO TO YOUR HAIR OR IS YET TO
TRY?
Hahahahahaha
this one let me laugh at myself very well lol!! Well I prepared soup on my head
hahaha weird right? Let me explain it at a time I used to do okro(okra) gel to
detangle my hair ( that one was good ooo) It is a good natural detangler (I’m
even thinking to go back on it). For the okro gel, you just have to cut two or
three okro in some water and boil, you sieve it to get the gel. I used to mix
it with my conditioner and applied it on the hair it was very good. And one day
I read on internet that you can use tomato to dye your hair. Mmmmh me as
Ginelle I went to buy tomato paste put it on my hair I even read I have to stand in the sun and I
did that too hahahaahaha no sense! Well as you can guess my hair did not dye, instead I got residues stuck in my hair I don’t even know when I finished
taking out all the residues. (laugh)

DO YOU HAVE A HAIR CRUSH
 |
| SOURCE:PERSONAL ALBUM |
I don’t
have one person as my hair crush. I’m just so in love with curly hair only Gods
know why hahahaha. So anyone with curly hair is my hair crush(smile).
ANY ADVICE TO NATURALISTAS OUT THERE:
What I can
advice you is, ladies be patient and careful with your hair listen to what your
hair needs and not what you want to do to your hair. Do ever compare your hair
with other people’s hair otherwise you will be frustrated and you will do
unnecessary things because everyone has a different hair type, what works for
your hair might not work for your sister’s hair and vice versa. And also don’t
worry natural hair grows it’s a matter of right care.
