ApHogee Hair Treatment. Harsh Protein Treatments!

Hello my healthy hair beauties,
SOURCE: GOOGLE

NB:
·         TREATMENTS ARE DELICATE, THEREFORE EVERY INSTRUCTION IS IMPORTANT AND MUST BE FOLLOWED.

Ok so my twin sister got this treatment set, I honestly did not know what the fuss was about till I tried it. This is a harsh protein treatment, therefore if you are protein sensitive please research more.
This is a two-step strengthening treatment from ApHogee (Serious care and protection).

It is best used by a professional who knows what he/she is about. In Ghana though most of our “wayside” established salons have their hairstylists claiming they know how to do it already. The other salons we can actually trust also charge too much so I end up doing most things myself.

This treatment includes;

  • Two-Step Protein Treatment
  •  Balancing Moisturizer

Two- Step Protein Treatment
I wish I could talk about the ingredients, but honestly I do not know the purpose of all. It has the smell of egg. On the bottle, it has written on it benefits such as;

  • Stops hair breakage on even badly damaged hair
  • Rebuilds hair structure for six weeks

WHEN USED AS DIRECTED!

After you shampoo your hair, towel blot your hair. Apply enough of the treatment to saturate your hair. You could use a WIDE TOOTHED COMB for even distribution. Now let it dry up. LEAVE HAIR UNCOVERED! You would need a hooded dryer, but if that is not available a blow dryer could be used. When using the blow dryer, the hair should not be agitated while drying. DO NOT COMB OR BRUSH OR PUT ANY TOOL IN THE HAIR DURING THE DRYING PROCESS, THE HAIR BECOMES EXTREMELY HARD.

For Naturals, I suggest not to twist the hair into sections. This is to allow every part to dry well.

Once dried, wet your hair one again, to loosen up the stiffness. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Proceed to the next step.

Balancing Moisturizer
A protein treatment should be followed with a moisturizing treatment.

ApHogee provided a balancing moisturizer to follow up the protein treatment. This helps restore moisture and also masks the egg smell from the protein treatment. Apply to hair and scalp after the treatment has been washed out. Leave on for two (2) minutes and rinse thoroughly.

During the protein treatment my hair became super stiff, after the balancing moisturizer my hair felt super soft.

I went to the salon the next day for cornrows, the hairdresser was surprised no hair was found in the comb after combing.

I give this product a 4.5/5. My hair loved it.
