MASTERING THE WASH AND GO : 4C STYLE

mastering the wash and go: for my 4c sistas(le struggle is real)

      Yes my kinkies it has been a while, and trust me I miss you. But college is no joke*sweating*. Anyways I'm here to debunk the saying that is, 4c hair can't EVEN wash and go. I believed this too because well I tried(talk about disaster). I was so desperate i even endured a week of the maximum hydration challenge(talk about work!) and it still did not end well for me. indeed wash and gos were definitely not for me and my fellow 4c sistas.

then the brains started working(finally). As 4c girls and basically all kinkies, we know we get curls when our hair encounters water, its like she(the mane) is so happy she curls up. but I noticed when i deep conditoned these curls were waaaaaaay more defined. it really did not matter what i used to deep condition, the longer it stayed under the cap the more those curls would define.

     so one day after my deep condition i rinsed it out, 5 minutes after the rinse out i employed the services of my trusty Fantasia IC hair polisher styling gel

you must be very generous with the application. part your hair in columns and coat generously from root to ends

my more informed wash and go with ic gel. 

    unfortunately this style completely depleted my already ailing gel. my fellow sistas Miranaya and Dorcey gushed about ecostyler gel, so i decided to get me my own ecostlyer gel with argan oil.(it was waaay bigger and on sale too)

this was about two and half hours after i applied ecostyler gel(i had to rush somewhere immediately after, so i could not take photos)

these two were taking the day after! my wash and go survived the night!(i did twist them, so the would not shrink)

    and it did not just stop there it went on to its 3rd day!!

i am currently sitting writing this post, with my curls still popping, I plan on wearing it as a puff tomorrow.

NB:I would like to add that the if you can not deal with crunchy hair go with ic gel but if you want a long lasting DEEP CONDITION AND GO(lets call it as it is) ecostyler all the way.
